Description

_{Feather Cloak mask removal is very difficult.

Reason 1- Feather cloaks are notoriously quick. They bound and move with the grace of a baby deer. But can move up to 60 mph. To remove you'd have to catch them first.

Reason 2- They are sealed tight. Tools are required to remove the mask.

Natural defenses
1. The soul stones 'all seeing eyes' will retreat to the base of their skull as an natural reaction.

2. A toxic smoke like mist that was once restrained by the mask starts flowing out. This mist is lethal if inhaled, with out medical help the mist will kill you eventual after touching or coming into physical contact with it.

When the soul stones are removed successfully the mist will disappear revealing an hallow upper skull. It is almost like a reverse of the mask's shape and is very much like obsidian. This bone is also toxic and can be leathal touching it is not advised.

Q. Do they live when the mask is removed?
A. Yes they do.

Q. Does it hurt them to remove the mask?
A. yep, it's not supposed to be removed. The pain will fade away to discomfort over time.

Q. What happens if they don't get their mask back?
A. They will just live their full natural life as long as their soul stones aren't removed.

Q. Will the mist kill the feathercloak or any other cloaks?
A. All feathercloaks are naturally immune to the mist. They receive just as much harm
as a human walking through the mist of a spray bottle.

Q. Why would anyone want to remove the masks if it's so dangerous?
A. It boils down to 3 things, Status-Money-Magic. Status is obvious. Why do people poach tigers when they can maul your face off? To have that pretty pelt right? They sell for a lot, can be turned into jewelry (Glowing gems) for lots of money. If the soul stones are ground up they can be put in a potion that will give you temporary powers that the cloak they took them from. So if a cloak can make rainbows, you can make a few yourself. If the cloak could turn the leaves in fall you'll be able to change them anytime you want etc. Magic users can go to town finding particular cloaks that have the powers or abilities they want to use.
Why is there so much villainy?

Q. When does the mist stop?
A. It is constant. Existed before the removal of the mask. The mask basically just suppressed it.

Q. What happens if the soul stone is taken?
A. The mist will disappear, and the feathercloak will die. Their spirit will return to the protector of life and live in the celestial plain with life.

Q. If you get sick from the mist how can you get better?
A. The bone is sometimes collected and bits are scraped off to be used as an anti-toxin. All you need is an injection of the antitoxin made from it. It's super rare to find this antidote if you do not collect the bone from the cloak you hunted. (Or possibly found hurt/without mask caused by hunters.
